Summer Camp Employment

YMCA Camping is not only a life changing experience for the campers, but it can be for the staff too! If you are open to new experiences and interested in having a positive impact on the lives of children, this may be the summer job for you. All positions have potential for being full-summer positions.

Employees are required to complete a criminal background check before hire. Staff are also required to attend staff training in early June and must be First Aid/CPR certified. This training is offered by the YMCA.

Intern (Entering Junior year of High School)
Assistant Counselor (Entering Senior year of High School)
Co-Counselor (Age 18. Entering Freshmen year of College or recently graduated from High School)
Senior Counselor (Age 19, at least Freshmen in College, or at least 1 year out of High School)
Ropes Course Director (Minimum age of 21, Experience facilitating high and low ropes activities)
Skateboarding Director (Minimum age 19, skateboarding experience)
Health Care Provider (RN, LPN, or MD)
Trail Guide (WFR/WFA, Minimum age 19, Trail experience)
Work Leadership Camper Coordinator (Minimum age 21, Leadership experience, Trail experience)
Arts & Crafts Director (Minimum age 19)
